Prince Albert gave his young bride Victoria this gorgeous sapphire brooch in 1840. The brooch is now owned and worn by Queen Elizabeth II. Due to the massive sapphire and the surrounding diamonds, the brooch is estimated to be worth about $4 million.

Prince Charles proposed to Diana in the 1980’s, and interestingly enough he let her choose her engagement ring. The blue sapphire and diamond ring was worth $36,000 when he purchased it in the 80’s. When Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton, he gave her the same ring, which is now worth $100,000.
