Kelly began her career as a defense attorney, eventually joining Fox News doing her own segment called Kelly’s Court during Weekend Live. Between the years 2013 and 2017, she held a nightly program called The Kelly File that became extremely popular, surpassing the numbers of The O’Reilly Factor, which was the number one show at the time. Eventually, she ventured away from Fox and signed a contract with NBC, which was later terminated. Her salary is around $15 million.
