Salma Hayek at 1998 Lethal Weapon 4 Premiere
Although she was not in Lethal Weapon 4, Salma Hayke still made a splash at the premiere. She was one of the most in demand actresses at the time, so she could be selective. On being offered the role of Selena, she said: “[The producers] offered it to me like a week after she [Selena Quintanilla-Perez] died. It was a little bit distasteful. They were already planning on making this movie.”
