During one of the show’s tapings in 1976 with host Bob Barker, one contestant was a victim of very bad timing. When calling out the contestant Patricia Barker’s name, no one appeared on the stage because the contestant was apparently in the bathroom at the time.

The Storage Lot
The show is equipped with a 30,000-square-foot warehouse that’s located on the CBS lot. This warehouse is where the show stores all of the prizes for a specific amount of time, including three dozen cars. There are thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes in the storage facility.
