Jelly-Style Grubs
Some people have seen jelly-like grubs that have tiny brown heads and cream-colored bodies. Most likely, they turn into beetles as they mature. If you have some “grass” that doesn’t turn green, you’ve probably got one underground nearby!
The Mountain
Hafor Jlus Bjornsson was called “the mountain” on the Game of Thrones HBO series from 2011. He’s 440 pounds and 6’9″! You can see him along with his wife, Kelsey Henson, outside of a Hollywood stage. She’s probably one-fifth of his weight and height!
The Gray Whale
A gray whale can survive for roughly 80 years in the ocean, and it gets barnacles encrusted on its skin during its lifetime. If they live long enough, they could weigh 90,000 pounds and be 49 feet long! Compared to the boat riders, one is much bigger than the other!
A Robber Crab
The robber crab is sometimes called a palm thief or a coconut crab. It’s the largest arthropod on the planet and lives on land. Island communities in the Pacific and Indian Oceans are common locations. It can grow up to be 1 meter long and weigh 10 pounds! They’re widely hunted because the meat is a delicacy, but they’re easily distinguished from other species.
Literally Batman
Tropical fruit bats are often called fruit bats or flying foxes, and they’re about the size of a man. However, they eat insects, plants, and fruits. Surprisingly, the bats rely on vision instead of echolocation for survival.
Flemish Giant Rabbit
A Flemish Giant Rabbit might appear to suffer from steroid addiction, but that’s how they’re supposed to look. Most of them weigh anywhere from 15 to 22 pounds. However, they’re a tamed species that is loving and docile, so they make great family pets if you’re into oversized rabbits.
Ghost Crab
The Ghost Crab is known for having a larger claw than the other in adulthood. This might be from its nighttime hours and the light hue when it hatches. Overall, it has a box-style body in adulthood. However, they’re more endearing to be around when they’re younger.
Sequoia National Park
The most impressive sight to see here is the enormous Redwood trees. They’re the oldest living species in the world, living up to 1,800 years. They grow to be 380 feet tall, with a 30-foot trunk diameter, so they’re also the largest living items on the planet!

Anaconda
Anacondas found in South America could weigh 550 pounds and grow to be 25 feet long, so they’re not to be taken lightly. Since they’re known to out-wrestle crocodiles, you can bet that they can take on a person, too. Don’t mess with them!
Sea Turtle
Have you ever seen a Leatherback Sea Turtle before? They’re considered the largest throughout the world, and they’re a sight to behold. Despite the name, the turtles don’t have the bony shell as protection from predators. Some of the larger adults had front flippers measuring 8.9 feet long!
The Smallest So Far
In contrast to the leatherback you just saw, there’s also a miniature tortoise around that spends most of the time on land. As newborns, they might be as small as a piece of fruit. Even though they’re quite small, they can live to be 150 years old!
Gigantic Tree
Redwoods are known to be large, but no one knows for sure if this beached trunk is one or not. Regardless of its weight and size, the powerful and ever-present ocean current can still move it all across the ocean. It’s a marvel to behold!
A Mistake
Whenever your climbing buddies ask you to go with them on a rock-climbing expedition, you’re eager and overjoyed to go. However, you realize the mistake you made when you’re close to the peak and choose to pause to look at the amazing scenery.
Tibetan Mastiff

Hungry Hippo
In physical terms, the hippopotamus is astonishing, especially when you think about how small the newborns are, compared to the adult. Once they reach adulthood, the males weigh 3,300 pounds or more, and females weigh up to 2,800 pounds. However, newborns are only about 55 pounds at birth.
Giant and Small Squids
The sizes for small and large squids vary significantly. The females can be 60 feet long, but the males grow to about 43 feet long. Therefore, they’re the largest of the species. What’s even more astonishing is someone caught live photos of the huge squid in its environment back in 2004!
Larger Ships Now
James Cameron knew what he was doing when he recreated the ship, Titanic, turning it into a film that amazed the world. Everyone is taken aback by its massive size, but things have expanded since 1912. In fact, the Titanic could be a dinghy compared to cruise ships today!
The Ballarat
“Fat Pat,” as he’s often called, is the world’s oldest wombat. He lives at a wildlife park called Ballarat, which is probably where the name came from. This guy is also the largest and weighs 88 pounds, but he’s just a big baby!
World’s Largest Heart
While many celebrities do charitable work, the largest heart in the world belongs to the Blue Whale. That makes sense since it’s the largest species in the world. It’s about the size of a compact vehicle, weighing about 400 pounds. A human could actually hide in one of the aortas, and that’s quite alarming!
The Sun
The sun is quite large and has a diameter of 854,000 miles, so it’s about 109 times bigger than the Earth. In fact, it is so big that it could actually hold one million Earths inside of it. Can you imagine how heavy that burning ball is?!
The Caretaker

Eagle’s Claw
The Common Eagle weighs just 15 pounds in adulthood and has a 7-foot wingspan. That doesn’t stop it from flying about 100 miles per hour. However, you now have the talons, which have a force of 1,000 pounds per square inch and are 2 inches long when extended.
The Massive Slug
What can you make out of the situation? This huge slug has a protective shell and curiously shaped ears, making it look like a small rabbit. Maybe it’s a new species to help save the rabbits from being used in rabbit stew. Slug stew might not go over as well with your guests, though!
The Small and Big Truck
On the right, there’s a semi-truck. It weighs about 34,000 pounds and costs $200,000 to buy new. However, you see a Caterpillar mining vehicle on the left. A brand new one costs $3.4 million, but it can pull a total of 75,000 pounds (two of the semi-trucks at once).

Usain Bolt
Usain Bolt isn’t racing to defend his 27.8-mph sprinting pace, which is lightning pace. He probably doesn’t have to worry about keeping that record. Images like these stand on their own, so there’s no wonder he claims to be the best sprinter in the world. He’s probably right!
Nature’s Power
Waterfalls are powerful and magnificent because they are opulent and enormous. It’s a sight to behold because the sheer scale of this natural marvel makes him look insignificant!
The Enormous Ship
Most people don’t realize that much of the ship’s structure is submerged in the water. Therefore, they underestimate just how big one is. The size of this ship is clear when it docks. If you put a human by it, the sheer size difference becomes obvious!
Governmental Power
Everyone knows that the country’s government is in charge, but images like this show a metaphor like none other. Just look at the huge municipal structure compared to the size of the resident who must comply with all the regulations established within!
A Grand and Merry Christmas
A lot of people try to outdo one another when it comes to Christmas decorations. While you might think you’ve found the biggest Christmas tree ever, there’s no competition here, really. The tree that’s brought to Rockefeller Center is always a massive one that towers over the ice skating rink.
Higher than Empire State
The photograph below shows a construction worker on the Empire State Building. This helps to put everything in perspective, doesn’t it? See how high he sits over New York City. He’s not even bothered by the fact that he’s so high above the crowd.
Spaceship or Earth
In the photo below, you see the geodesic sphere of the EPCOT theme park at Walt Disney World. Those who constructed it broke world records in doing so. The photos of the structure’s construction aren’t often seen, but you’re sure to notice the tiny people on top of it.

No Etiquette
Bears are quite amazing creatures, but did you know that their tongues are just as long as their bodies? This black bear was unconcerned with the onlookers. He knows he can do whatever he wants; who is crazy enough to stop him?!
Perspective
This is truly a massive waterfall, or is it? Some people feel that it’s a step with a stream going through it. Perspective is crucial, and this photograph shows that you can’t overstate it. In fact, a small camera was installed in a shallow stream to give the impression of a waterfall!
