Owners Get the Scare of Their Lives When Their Dog Won’t Stop Barking at a Table

Published on April 21, 2021
We’ve all heard the saying that a dog is a man’s best friend. These animals are often excellent companions because they have the reputation of being easygoing, friendly, and help to keep you in shape. Due to this, dogs can be incredible additions to your life if you have the time and want to care for these animals and give them the love they deserve. The owners who treat their dogs well are often rewarded by this canine. These rewards are typically cuddles and tons of love. However, this family’s dog rewarded them differently. This particular pooch gave them quite a fright. Here’s what happened…

Meet Bobby

Bobby is a young Cockapoo who is living with his human family in Sydney, Australia. This family consists of George, Kyla, and their young son named Peter. Bobby and Peter are both two years old and have grown up together.

An Inseparable Pair

The parents decided to get Bobby when their son was a baby because they wanted Peter to have a companion. The idea worked out excellently, as the pair are incredibly close. They do almost everything together, especially going on walks with Peter in the stroller.

A Perfect Match

The family is very happy with their life with Bobby, and the same can be said for Bobby. However, this wasn’t always the case for Bobby. That’s because the chances of Bobby ended up with a caring and nice family were extremely slim.

A Ruthless Breeder

Bobby was born to a mother who was owned by a ruthless dog breeder who had dollar signs for eyes. To this breeder, Bobby was only another puppy born to make him money. He didn’t care for the puppy’s wellbeing and only wanted money.

Only a Product

Along with his brothers and sisters, Bobby was sold to the highest bidder, which was the case for every dog under the possession of the breeder. All of these bidders typically weren’t looking to provide the dogs with a good home.

These dogs had no security for their future. In some cases, these dogs might be sold to a loving and caring owner who would treat them the way they should. Otherwise, they might be sold to an illegal zoo and be used as food for the other animals.

Treated Poorly

Bobby was seen as a product, so he was treated poorly. He was given only enough food to survive and he was forced to live in a very tiny cage. He wasn’t even permitted to exit his cage for a walk and he had a tough first few weeks.

However, Bobby got extremely lucky because his breeder was arrested only a couple of days after he was born. The operation this breeder was conducting was discovered and shut down immediately by the Sydney police. After his arrest, all his dogs were put up for adoption.

It might seem like this procedure was a little overboard to adopt Bobby, but the employees at the animal shelter cared for Bobby and wanted to make sure he went to the right home. Everyone fell in love with the doggo after he arrived at the shelter.

A Lovable Dog

Bobby was incredibly shy when he was first placed in the animal shelter. This was probably because he didn’t receive enough love and affection. That’s why it took him a while to get used to being around caring employees, but he soon loved every minute of this attention.

A Lot of Energy

Kyla and George didn’t have the biggest house. Nonetheless, Bobby was quite small, so he had all the space he could ever need. His energy often sent him flying around the home and he would knock over items in the process.
